The Greater Auckland Tour was absolutely magnificent. We saw a lot more of the city and region than we would otherwise ever have done. Our guide explained Auckland, its history, culture and amazing sights in-depth and was very knowledgeable. The Maori weekend was amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was really well organised and we felt really welcome all weekend. I would point out to anyone going that it makes it so much more fun if they really get involved in everything, it isn't really a sit and watch kind of weekend! The place was great, we had a 2 1/2 hour walk around the island which was great as I think we wouldn't have really got a sense of the island otherwise. The food was great and I was particularly impressed as I'm a vegetarian and can sometimes feel a bit left out, but they completely included us in food preparation etc. If you can pass on my thanks to the team at TIME, that would be great.
